Time of Sighting: 6:45 PM Local Time
Description: Aloha, I live on the Island of Kauai. My partner and I were doing our after dinner walk around the neighborhood and we were going up Lokilani Street facing due East just before it turns and faces South when we had our sighting. Our walk is usually between 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM. About 45 to 55 degrees up in the night sky I saw a very bright single flash of light, stationary not moving. I mentioned it to my partner and he looked up to where I was pointing and then again there was a second bright flash in the same location. We continued to walk and I continued to look up in the sky at that location and then I saw a “line” of light. It was as if someone drew a pencil line of light in the sky about an “inch” across and that was it. We finished our walk and we did not see anything else that night. The next day we saw and heard on the local news, the reports of people seeing things in the night sky.
Note: Several lights in unison in V formation were seen over the Hawaiian Islands at around 10 PM on October 24, 2020. It is doubtful that the above sighting is related.

I am in the UK. I saw the same thing in the eastern night sky. It was a bright stationary light which flashed once then disappeared, like a pulse. I watched the sky for some time longer, but saw nothing else. This however occurred 12 months previously, in October, 2019. It was very strange and was much bigger than a star. It’s appearance was a bright white light.
