Description: I thought we were seeing a bright star or high flying aircraft, but with a greenish color that was sometimes flashing and sometimes steady. The color also changed from green to white. It seemed to be thousands of feet above us. We knew it was something else when it quickly accelerated from a dead stop for some distance and stopped again. Again after several seconds it again quickly accelerated some distance at a some sharp angle from were it last stopped. This repeated several times, each time in a sharp angle of varying degrees. Acceleration was instant. I’m guessing it traversed a few miles each time until if took off at a amazing speed and flew out of sight. This occurred at a fireworks event with thousands of people in attendance, but this sighting was far away from the fireworks and thousands of feet higher. In fact we had to turn our back to the fireworks to observe the strange sighting.
