Description: I saw a very similar object the year before! We were heading east on Route 2 towards Boston going on vacation in July of 2015. We just passed the Erving bowling alley about 7 AM and headed up the big hill by the Millers River towards the Farley ledges and noticed a chrome-ish (highly reflective) object directly in front of us going into the clouds horizontally. The shock came when it popped out the other side and came to a dead stop! (I could barely keep the car on the road at that point!) The big difference was with blue sky silhouetting it we could see it clear enough to describe it as a stretched out triangle (?) design. It was skinny on top slowly tapering to wide on bottom. (The biggest contributor was the dumb luck of the car’s angle heading up that steep grade.) We tend to look-up a lot more often since.
Note: The witness is referring to the sighting of the sighting of a shiny chrome colored object that flew out of puffy cloud in Athol, MA on December 8, 2016.
