BRIGHT STAR-LIKE OBJECT PHOTOGRAPHED.
Description: I have been looking at this in the sky for weeks. To the naked eye just looks like a huge star, but it seems to change shape when you look at it. It also looks like arms come off of it. When you zoom in, it appears as a square with a ring coming off it! I live in Oldham, United Kingdom. This was taken looking towards east towards Manchester/Manchester city Centre.
Note: The brightest object in the Eastern sky was the planet Jupiter. It is not likely that the object photographed was Jupiter because it would have lower on the horizon and probably would have not been visible at the time of the photograph. Perhaps the witness may have seen a high altitude balloon?
