Description: Over the ocean near the beach in an isolated area by the CA, Pacific Coast Highway about at mile marker 23 (Decker Canyon RD) I saw 2 lights about the size of how a star looks, but it was way too low. Both lights had a brown hue and were moving in circles. Then one disappeared and the other turned bright red and made a huge circle motion in the air. After it did this, the other light reappeared and was light blue. Then the red one turned brown again and shortly disappeared. The new light hovered for a bit then drifted out of sight.

I feel crazy when I talk about it because right away people think you’re full of it, but at least two other people I know saw it too. I live on the west end of Ventura and I could see it down by the fairgrounds/downtown Ventura. It had two large blue lights and one red light. The three lights seemed to pulsate and it moved in a strange way, become stationary and then it would bob up and down then sway back and forth in a figure 8 type of pattern.

The colors were so rich and vivid. I have never seen anything like it before. It was distinctly different from the surrounding lights. It was like comparing a incandescent bulb with a LED bulb. The difference is dramatic. It was dark, but the shape reminded of jax you play with when you are a child.

Also, my girlfriend had just left my house so I called her and asked her if she could see the strange lights in the sky. As she was merging onto the 101 Highway, from the 33 Highwya going southbound, it was right in front of her. She couldn’t believe it.

It was Saturday night! Someone in downtown Ventura had to have seen it and taken pictures of it.

    (Please excuse the drawing)

I saw the same thing tonight around sunset. I’m a bit north of you in Santa Barbara, but what initially caught my atention was a trail coming up from the horizon. It totally looked like a missile tail and then way above it a jet with a reddish contrail. It was extremely high, big and fast(really fast)!

After the jet left my field of view out my car window I noticed the two bright green light balls. I thought I was hallucinating. I looked again and they started falling to the sea. I was on Highway 101 at Rincon and the freeway turned inland, so i wasn’t able to see what happened to the balls of green light.

It looked like the original missile launch and the jet came from San Nicholas Island, but the balls could have never fallen to the elevation I saw them if they were droped by the jet, so I am completely confused as to what I was seeing and why no one else has reported this exact sighting with the freeway so packed.
