Description: At approximately 7 PM on 1/26/14 I stepped out onto my back porch. My eye caught a movement to the South. I saw for the second time a UFO? It was bright yellow/red/Orange in color. It traveled towards our house north bound, stopped and changed direction and began moving to the East. I had called my family to witness the object, ITS ALL ON CAMERA! The object stopped, flashed very brightly several times and then discarded something? There was a glowing discharge from the bottom of object. The object lost brightness intensity and then slowly went away?
AS mentioned above this was the second time I have seen the same object do the exact same thing in nearly the same place. My first sighting was slightly farther south and east and farther away. This time IT WAS CLOSE!

Note: This report was received from James Clarkson who is MUFON director for the state of Washington. We compared notes and I received a similar report on 1/26/2014 at a location about 7 miles to the East-Southeast of this report. (See map above for locations of both sightings.) A check of weather conditions at Spokane International Airport and Fairchild AFB showed that skies were overcast with a low cloud ceiling of 1,200 feet. Visibility was 10 miles. The temperature was 28 degrees F. and winds were light (less than 5 MPH from the Northwest). Given the weather scenario it is likely that this object was quite close to the witness (probably less than one mile). It is also believed that the two sightings may be of the same object, but at different times. The video was taken around 7 PM PST. The other sighting occurred about 6:15 PM PST.
We have written a request for aviation radar data to better define our investigation. This was object was NOT a weather balloon (balloon was launched around 4 PM PST), it was NOT a Chinese Lantern (Lanterns don't fly into wind) and it was NOT a UAV (UAV's are not allowed in controlled airspace). It also was NOT a military operation. The air force operations out of Fairchild AFB are carried out well to the North of Spokane.
Anyone with information, photos, videos is urged to file a report immediately.
