Abstract of “The Roswell Legacy:”
My focus in this book will be to present the reader with a clearer picture of the man who was – and remains – at the center of the Roswell controversy; my father, Jesse Marcel, Sr.. While I must acknowledge that my own account carries within its own bias, I realize that my duty to my father is to present him as the man he was, as accurately as possible, lest I fall into the same trap as those who have allowed their own biases and agendas to paint a portrait that is not as much the man as what he represents to them and their goals. As such, I feel I am the only living person truly qualified to wield the brush. I hope I serve his memory well.
UFOS Northwest Review of “The Roswell Legacy:”
Any UFO anyone curious about the UFO phenomenon (and that includes skeptics) should read this book. This should make a “believer” out of anyone. Dr. Marcel has “firsthand” experience with the Roswell incident and also has done extensive research on the subject. His wife, Linda also wrote a chapter and expressed how this incident has affected the family. Dr. Marcel also discussses how the incident affected his parents. Jesse presents some very strong arguments that the Roswell crash was unexplained and was not a weather or Mogul balloon as stated by the Air Force. Dr. Marcel has a strong scientific background and writes about the likelihood of interstellar travel and extraterrestrial intelligent life.
Thank you for the conversation on Easter eve in 1989. I sent you a book that your children took to school and had a good response. I hope that all is well. Your story is the best. Thank you.
