Time of Sighting: 2:30 AM CDT
Description: The only person I have ever told is my wife until now. I don’t imagine anyone will believe me, but it’s completely true. In the summer of 2006 I was on US Highway 41 north of Princeton, Indiana in north bound lane at 2:30 AM. I had gotten off 2nd shift at Wabash mine in Mt Carmel, Illinois. I was heading back home to Sullivan driving my wife’s Chrysler Lebaron convertible. The highway was dead. There was no traffic. There was a set of high voltage power lines on the east side of the highway. On my right I noticed 3 red lights that were not blinking and were spaced in a triangular shape. The object was about 200 feet long. It was jet black. You could barely make out the outline of the craft as it approached hovering directly over the power lines. It was moving maybe 10 miles per hour and was completely and totally silent. I have flown my family’s Cessna 150 and I am an excellent aircraft identifier. I slowed down the car looking in awe. It seemed like I was driving, but it wasn’t moving. it was weird as it seemed like time slowed down for a minute.. But I Know nothing can fly that slow. It was not a helicopter. It was triangular shaped with red lights flying at night. It seemed like it was powering up off the high line which is not insulated. It got closer. I am not sure how long I watched it. It was around 3 to 5 minutes. It continued heading south following the power lines and I just started driving. It was parallel with the car. I wasn’t sticking around anymore . It was close and I cannot explain it. I’m going to get on Google Earth and see if I can find the exact spot I was at. I haven’t talked about this in years, but I swear it happened.
