Time of Sighting: 9:30 AM EST
Description: I was looking out my backyard and saw an object off to the south that appeared to be moving slowly heading ENE. The object made no sound and appeared to be floating, but was metallic as the sun was reflecting off it. I couldn’t determine the size or distance, but was guessing it was a half-mile or more away. It was a weird shape if it was a balloon as it was shaped like a cylindrical “L”. I haven’t heard of anyone else seeing anything.
Note: I don’t know what this object is. If it is a balloon, I have never seen one like it.

I also saw this strange object on Feb 10, 2022 in Sistersville, WV. I was driving home from shopping. As I stopped at a red light a town over, I looked up to admire the clouds which were a beautiful pinkish color from behind them, then I saw the “very shiny” metallic “L” shaped object standing still right next to the clouds, as if it just hung there. I continued to watch, then the object quickly darted behind the clouds, I couldn’t find or see it after that. The only difference is the object was at a different angle than the one you are showing. If you take your photo and rotate it 90 degrees, that is what I saw. The body of it was thick like the photo you show. It sort of reminded me of a plane cut in half and the ‘tail’ was straight up. (I hope that makes sense.) Thank you for sharing this!
I have been searching all over for something like what I saw. I can’t believe I found ‘exactly’ what I saw!
It is good to know that others saw this object. As of yet I don’t have an explanation for this. Hopefully more commenters will come forward.
