Location of Sighting: Portland, Oregon
Date of Sighting: March 20, 2019
Time of Sighting: 10 PM PDT
Description: I was walking on NE 47th south towards Fremont and saw a large light blue object falling rapidly in the sky. It was the shape of a moon that is about 2/3 full. It seemed to be at a distance of at least a few miles. However, it’s size was very large. Compared to the stars in the background it was many times larger. (I imagine it must have been 30-200 feet long.) I saw it speed downwards for about 1 second, then it disappeared quickly. I thought maybe it was a meteor. But it was also a light blue color, not red or pink. So I am not sure what it was. Maybe a UFO?
Note: This sighting sounds like a meteor.
