Description: At 6 PM this evening, my Father and I saw a large, bright light in the night sky that remained static for nearly two hours. Upon closer inspection with binoculars, the light changed shape frequently and had hues of red, yellow, blue and green.

Shapes ranged from triangular, to spherical, a mesh of neon lines, geometrically circular and back to triangular. The light briefly took on the shape of a vertical line.

The movement of the light was not visible to the naked eye, but it eventually moved behind neighboring houses around 8 PM. Locals in the next town over also spotted this large light, and other smaller lights accompanying it. They have all since disappeared.

Photos were taken on a Samsung Galaxy S9 phone and have not been doctored in any way.

(I could only attach two photographs, but I have two others on my computer should you want them.)

Note: The witnesses were viewing the planet Venus. The apparent shape changes and color changes could be due to atmospheric light scattering as Venus was fairly low on the horizon which results in more light scattering.
