Description: I was driving west on 196th just West of Highway 99 around 7:00 PM when I saw this large bright red light just Southwest of the QFC store on 76th. I became perplexed by it because it was lower than a plane or helicopter and it was much brighter and wasn’t flashing or moving. I kept driving and turned left (south) on to 80th St where it seemed to be aligned, but was further South. I drove a few blocks and pulled over at the stop sign while constantly watching it and trying to figure out what it was. It then disappeared. I have never ever seen anything like it. I later googled “red light Edmonds, WA” and was perplexed to find similar circumstances 7 years before and at the same time.
