Light Flying by Airplane Streaks Away, Returns & Vanishes.

Time of Sighting: 10:30 PM EST

Description: I saw two bright lights in the northern sky at night. I got out my binoculars and first looked at the one on the right. It was moving slowing and had a flashing red light, clearly an airplane of some kind. I then moved my binoculars to the left to look at the other light. The light immediately took off to the left (to the west) at a high rate of speed, going in a big arc across the sky. When it came back to nearly the same point above the horizon, it disappeared.
