Time of Sighting: 8:15 to 10:15 PM CDT
Description: 5/11/2018-I have witnessed the same bright light. It hovers, dims, brightens and has different color flashing lights. This started May 1, 2018 around 8:15 PM. Recently I noticed that you can also see other white lights that flash further around it. At first it was only the one big bright light and it would be there for hours. I never thought anything of it. But now it also has a companion. If I am facing West it is to my right and the companion is to my left. It also hovers, but it is not very bright and it is constantly flashing lights. They are there for about 2 hours. Then it starts heading West and the bright one starts descending then rising. It may hover a few minutes then descend or rise, but it changes color when it descends and when it rises it gets bright again. Then it either will go in a downward way or it will head towards the West as well. Now, I have been in my yard every night trying to figure out what these two are, and I have to be honest about this. I hope I don’t get arrested, but at first the companion would stay for hours as well and I had never seen the bright light change colors before. I guess they did all that after I went to bed. Anyway I flashed a light at the companion twice. It was just my little yard flash light, but that is when it started descending and the bright light started changing colors, descending and both of them leaving. Now they do this every night after a couple of hours. Well last week two more popped up. There was a bright light and a companion on the exact opposite side of the others! I do not know what to make of this. I have been freaking out!!! Well I don’t dare flash my light anymore!
Note: I believe that the witness is seeing celestial phenomena (bright stars and planets). Venus has been bright in the western sky this month and Jupiter has been bright in the eastern sky. The witness is referring to the sighting of a bright light that hovered, moved, stopped and brightened in Southeast England on April 16, 2018.
