Description: Hi: I was out camping on Knocknarea yesterday and was awoken at night by a large bang. I assumed it was a car crash, but then shortly afterwards I heard a low humming noise that got louder and louder. I unzipped the tent and went outside to see this thing in the air. My mind quickly associated the shape with that of a cactus, but I don’t think I can begin to comprehend what the features on this thing were weapons perhaps?
I have attached a sketch. What is even stranger is when I arrived back to my apartment the locks were changed. After talking to the landlord he said that my bathroom had flooded and I didn’t pay rent for a week. I was gone for a whole week! Yet I had only supplies for one night and only memory of the one night.
I consider it a lucky escape and will never be camping there again.
