Man Sees 10 Bright Orange Objects in Formation in Night Sky.

Location of Sighting: Renton, Washington
Date of Sighting: December 26, 2015
Time of Sighting: 6:40 PM PST

Description: I saw 10 bright orange objects in formation, evenly spaced out from each other. They came in from Eastern WA, descended slowly, then headed north towards Seattle until slowly disappearing. The objects did not move fast. They were very easy to see and track. One hour later I saw 2 more do the same thing. I called 911 on the first sighting. There were no other calls about the sighting. I was told they would contact FAA and they in turn would contact me. I have had no contact as of this writing. Six of us saw these objects. I have been around aircraft my whole life and I never seen anything like this before. Three of the six of us have military experience. None of us have never see anything like this.

Note: A check of the winds in the lower part of the atmosphere shows that winds were from the east. Therefore the objects could have been flotation devices (e.g. Chinese Lanterns) given that they were observed moving from the East. However, the observed descending of the objects and turning north would make this explanation unlikely.

I saw 8 of the orange orbs in the night sky in Edmonton, Alberta on June 22nd, 2015. I wasn’t quite sure what they were, but they definitely not Chinese Lanterns.
