Location of Sighting: Chesapeake Bay (Exact Location Not Specified)
Date of Sighting: May 23, 2015
Time of Sighting: 3:30 PM to 8:45 PM EDT
Description: I was fishing in the Chesapeake bay today, and I looked up for a moment because a very loud boat just went by. As I looked up I also took into consideration that the clouds were just remarkably beautiful, and as I am looking at the clouds, I see a black object in the sky. I thought to my self: “that is just a helicopter or a blimp. I was out for a very long time, from around 3:30 PM to 8:45 PM with family. At the end of our trip, I looked at the sunset, and that same black dot was still sitting there in the distance. I say “no helicopter or blimp would stay in the same spot for 5 hours. And so I started telling family and taking pictures and the dot was still just sitting there. Now we are leaving and on the way home we have to go on a very highly elevated bridge, and I look to the west where it had been litaraly all day, and I see a flash of yellow light, and the object is gone. I have always believed in aliens, so this was not a break through moment for me. I had only seen a UFO 1 or 2 other times, but this was the clearest. It was much clearer to the human eye, but if you were to have the technology to enhance the image and notice it was a UFO then there would have been a UFO sighting in one of the most populated parts of the country. If you could enhance the image, it would be sincerely appreciated by me. We are not alone.
Note: The witness sent a “cropped” edited photo of dark object. The photo has been enlarged with contrast adjusted. We are trying to obtain the original (unedited) photo. The witness could have seen the new “radar blimp” that is flown by military out of nearby Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. The craft flies at around 10,000 feet and has a top speed of 28 MPH. The device is used for radar surveillance. The Air Force plans to fly more of these craft in the future.Note to Commenters: If you are reporting a sighting, be sure to include the location (city, state, country), date and time of your sighting.
