Location of Sighting: Between Fairchild and Houston, Texas

Time of Sighting: Around noon CDT
Description: I have seen the white sphere in Texas around 2012 driving from Fairchild, TX to Houston TX. It was one brief sighting only lasted for a second, but had the same description as you gave darted out then back into a rain cloud. It was probably a mile away, but just for that second It looked like it had tile on it like the space shuttle and it was dirty looking. I had seen ball lighting either that year or the year before, something I had never seen, but I question now if that is some means for repowering the sphere and that was not ball lighting that I saw.
