March 10, 2012 – Miami Lakes, Florida – 7:30 PM EST

Description: I was working in a carnival and I looked up and there were 23 orange dots floating south of Miami Lakes. I thought that they might have been flares off a plane or something, but flares have a limited time to burn. These objects were neither going up or down and they were moving south of Miami Lakes, Florida. These objects soon disappeared as soon as I saw them and only one other person was alerted by these objects after I had called them out.

Note: This sighting could be due to flares. A check of winds in lower atmosphere shows that winds above 6,000 feet were from a north-northwesterly direction. This indicates that the objects were moving with the wind which means that the objects could be flotation devices such as flares (or Chinese lanterns).
