March 11, 2015 – Centennial Colorado – 6 AM MDT

Description: I saw a greenish light, low flying that was moving West at a speed similar to an airplane. It seemed low on the horizon. I couldn’t tell how far as it was difficult to perceive the overall size of the object. At first it appeared to be cigar shaped, but upon closer observation it was circular with what appeared to be a tail much like a meteor. The color was light green in color, similar to this web page background. I was able to observe it for about 45 seconds to a minute before it disappeared over the tree line very low on the horizon. At this point it seemed maybe within a few miles of my location.

Note: The American Meteor Society (AMS) received nearly 150 reports from Wyoming and Colorado on Mar 11, 2015. The AMS is not certain if the fireball was a meteor or “space trash.”
