March 8, 2012 – Lebanon, Missouri – 3:50 AM CST

Description: I saw circular lights that stayed close to each other, but did not seem to be attached. The lights were of a whitish grey color. I saw the lights while driving home. They seemed rather close and moved away from each other mildly. They stayed relatively close to one another. They were seemingly large and very easy to notice. I did not have to strain at all to follow all movement. I didn’t see them fly away nor fade out. They were just simply gone.

On Feb 26,2012 About 8:00pm I had a similar experience in Olathe, KS. I saw four individual orange balls of light traveling from the West-Southwest turning to north then east. The lights were about 1 to 2 miles south of where I was standing. Their speed was too slow for jet planes. They were too fast for hot air balloons and hot air baloons don’t follow each other or make right turns or fly at night. The speed was maybe 50 MPH. There were no standard aircraft lights (red, green and white). There was no airplane propeller or helicopter prop sounds. I was just silent. There are a few airfields in the area, New Century Airport KS about 10 miles southwest, Executive airport Johnson County KS, about 2 miles east, Richards-Grebaur Air Force Base (a closed United States Air Force base 17 miles east) and then WHITEMAN AFB Air Force Base 60 miles east. I live in a flight path and I am familiar with the aircraft and sounds they make. I viewed these orange balls of light for about 10 to 15 minutes along with my wife so they weren’t traveling at a high rate of speed. I note that you were not far from Ft. Leonard Wood. I reported this to one of these UFO sighting sites. I haven’t hear back.
