Description: A man and his wife were outside. They reside along the Columbia River in Southern Washington State. They noticed a star about 40 degrees above the horizon. They observed that the star moved east to west as the Earth rotated. They also noticed an object slightly smaller than a star moving in varying patterns (square and octagon) around the star. They observed the object for about 30 minutes. Skies were partly cloudy at the time of the sighting. The object was silent. They thought that the object was quite unusual.
