Location of Sighting: San Diego, California (See Map)
Description: I just want to briefly describe a strange formation that I saw in the sky about a week ago. I was on my way to a friend's house and as I was driving towards the 8 freeway I noticed something falling slowly from the sky. It was a most strange sight as the comet like entity was abruptly visible at a random spot in the sky and as it came down it seemed to be doing so in slow motion until it split into three comets which then stopped in mid-air. At that point the tails that made them look like comets were gone and the lights simply hovered in the air almost like flares until they started doing something weird that looked like blinking and moving around in rapid zig zag like moves. I may have noticed a fourth light joining them off to the side as the original three seemed to be in a triangular formation. Anyway I didn't think much of it until my brother who was there to witness the event showed me a video on youtube called UFO's in the USA and these same lights have been seen throughout the country. My only concern is not knowing what this could mean and if it is something that happens often or rarely I had to report this to somebody, anybody! With the strange things that are happening now and are said to happen soon I am not sure whether to remain skeptic, embrace it, or simply avoid the outlandish notion of aliens and Planet X! Heres a link to the video, the best example of what I saw begins at 0:43. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EBJFYcfl2Q.
