  1. My wife and I were also on the Cherry Grove Pier two nights ago when a larger irregularly shaped light appeared over the ocean. A smaller light, about a fourth of the size of the larger light, was approaching from the left. When the smaller light either went behind or in front of or maybe into the larger light. They both instantaneously disappeared. At the time I thought it might have something to do with planes and a cloud passing in front of these lights that made them disappear. It was only when we got home the following evening and were watching a Charlotte TV station, did we realize that it might be something other than planes?
