Description: The witness went outside to have a cigarette and noticed an elongated “tear-drop” shaped object hovering in the northeastern sky about 50 degrees above the horizon. The object had a “holographic” appearance. The witness saw the object for about two minutes and then went in her house to fetch her father to view the object. When she returned about a minute later the object was gone. The witness felt that the object “sensed” her prescence and vanished.

Note: I believe that the witness may have seen the planet Jupiter which was very bright and almost in the exact position described by the witness. The witness stated that the object did not move which is consistent with a celestial explanation. The apparent coloration can be due to light scattering in the atmosphere. The loss of sight of the object could be due to change in attenuation of the atmosphere which could make the planet look different.
