Photo Taken Of Large Circular Red Object.

Location of Sighting: Lewes, Delaware
Date of Sighting: March 3, 2021
Time of Sighting: 6:35 PM EST

Description: Photos taken about 1/2 hour after sunset. The objects appeared to be moving right to left. (The photos may be out of order.) There are 3 pictures, but I don’t know how to include the 3rd.

Note: It is believed (but not known) that the red object was not seen, but later discovered in the photos. Questions have been posed to the witness. Updates will be posted.

(The update below strongly suggests that the witness saw the object and that is why photos were taken.) I don’t believe that the object is a cloud or a meteor.

Update – April 6, 2021: The pictures were taken by a neighbor of my sister. She sent them to my sister while I was at their house and she was freaked out and that is how I came to see them. I know the date is correct because the next day was my birthday. The white marks are reflection from her car. (I meant to include that info.) I was intentionally only giving minimal info because I was not the one seeing it. I haven’t found anyone who knows what it is. If you think that this thing is legit, I will see if the lady who took the pictures will fill out a report. I still have another picture, but it is not a lot different from the first two. It just shows that the object is apparently moving to the left. I’ll see if she will file a report. I’m pretty sure she took the pictures after seeing the object. (There would be no other reason to take the pictures.) If she agrees. I will give her your name to reference.

Update – April 7, 2021: The commenter below has provided information that the red orb in the above photo is a cloud from a NASA suborbital sounding rocket launched on March 3, 2021. The rocket was launched from Wallops Island, VA and will study ionization in space.
