Description: I happened to look out my bedroom window and saw a reddish-orange ball of light about 45 degrees to the right if looking straight out, towards the town of Lehighton. At first I thought it was a hobby drone someone was flying on the next street down. It slowly hovered, or really just sort of hung in the air, and moved from left to right, right to left. It did this maybe 2 or 3 times. Then it appeared to stop for a brief second and all of a sudden it made a few very quick jerking motions of what appeared to be a relatively short distance in the sky. However it was dark and a very cloudy night as it had been raining the entire day. After it made a few of these quick “jerks” it appeared to accelerate away from my point of view towards the town of Lehighton. It accelerated just as fast, if not faster than the jerking motions, and slightly upwards until the reddish-orange light vanished into the clouds within a few seconds. The whole ordeal lasted only a minute or two at the very most. Keeping track of time and the local surroundings was difficult as I enamored by what I was seeing, especially after the faster movements when I realized that this was indeed not any hobby drone or anything I could identify. There were no discernible features, no sound as far as I could tell although my windows were closed because the air conditioner was on. It was simply a reddish-orange ball of light.
