Round Red Glimmering Object Near Airliner.

Time of Sighting: 1:45 PM PDT

Description: I observed an object in the eastern sky near an approaching commercial jet making approach to San Diego International Airport. The object was roundish in shape with some red color glimmering, possibly due to reflection from sun. The size was that of a pea held at arm’s length. It appeared to be moving towards my line of vision for several seconds, then suddenly shifted to a lateral direction. Then within a second or two, it immediately disappeared.
