Comments: I just wanted to point out that Petaluma is approximately 15 miles from the Charles. M. Shultz Memorial Airport in Santa Rosa, CA. I happen to know that they house a variety of experimental aircraft developed & owned by the military, aviation scientists & privately owned by enthusiasts. There isn’t much restricted airspace around Sonoma County, considering the areas farms and undeveloped land and if you look closely at the picture, & the 1st image that I saw, was a man made aircraft. I have been married to a high ranking Officer in the military, who has over 18 years of flight experience, graduated from Test Pilot school, held position of Chief Test Pilot and I have spent my entire 15 year marriage immersed in all things aviation based. I have seen & heard things I probably wasn’t meant to, including pictures of experimental craft as well as “unidentified craft”. So my conclusion and comment is that while I don’t believe this particular picture is a true UFO from beyond our world, I believe without a doubt, after all I have observed and witnessed that UFO’s exist. Why does the Government deny them? Because their own investigations still leave too many unanswered questions and if they were to publicly acknowledge them, without any definitive answers about: who, what, where, when, how, good, bad, peaceful or threatening and couldn’t reassure the public that they were able to defend against them, it would cause large scale worry and panic, major disruptions in lives and cause people to focus endlessly on the “what if’s” etc. I was raised a tree-hugging democrat in Marin County and constantly questioned the Government’s non-disclosure practices until I was married into it and also personally worked for the D.O.D. (Department of Defense) realizing the main reasons were just lack of answers and that the time will come when they do release information publicly. Sit tight.
