Description: My husband and I were driving in the parking lot of the Walmart at Monkey Junction in Wilmington, NC around 8:30 in the evening. Suddenly two bright orange orbs came up over the tree line from behind the store. We stopped the car and got out and continued to watch the lights move slowly towards us and then slowly disappear. Another then appeared from the same direction, and then another. We saw 6 in all. All were completely silent, bright orange, on the same trajectory and all faded out shortly after passing us. I saw a strange single yellow light going in circles and in an up and down pattern in the same spot. The light made from slow to super fast turns and super fast up and down motions. I saw it for 20 to 30 minutes as I came in and out several times from my house. It was freaky as I never seen anything like it. I reported it to the Wake County Sheriffs Department. I bet that they thought I was crazy.
