Description: We saw these lights at about 10:30 PM in Spartanburg, SC. We live off of Carolina Country Club Road. The objects were moving east out of the woods behind our home and into the neighborhood. The weather was clear calm and quiet. I feel these were not meteors. Maybe they were possibly satellites? Any thoughts?

They look exactly like aircraft to me. As a matter of fact, the SC Air National Guard had an exercise that lasted from July 18-21, 2022. The exercise involved F-16s from the 169th Fighter Wing, temporarily based at Columbia’s Metropolitan Airport. The nighttime flights ran until midnight each night. Columbia is 83 miles SE from Spartanburg.
