Location of Sighting: Maineville, Ohio
Date of Sighting: October 22, 2017
Time of Sighting: 12:40 to 1 AM EDT
Description: On 10/22/17 from 12:40 1:00 AM over Maineville, Ohio I was a single, white, fast moving orb circling over the court and part of a lake in a residential subdivision. It was a partly cloudy night sky. I could see the orb more clearly when it went through the thin clouds, but I could not see it all all when coming out of the clouds against the dark night sky. Then it would appear again in the next cloud, moving in a clockwise, swift, repetitive rotation. It was hard to estimate how high it was, but it definitely was NOT as high as other stars or planes would fly. I would say this was much closer to the ground. No one else was around. It was very late and quiet, on a Sunday evening. We are far enough away from the city or other commercial developments, so it was not a spotlight of any sort. There was no beam, no stem, no noise. There was just a solo white orb. When going through the thin clouds, it almost took on a faint lime to teal hue. I watched it for close to 20 minutes total. I took a short 50 second video after watching for 10 minutes and you can see it in the video. When my phone recorder stopped, I continued to watch for another 5 or so minutes, but the rotation gradually moved closer toward to the house, eventually extending over the house! My footage looks just like several other still photos posted online of white orbs.
Strangely enough, about 3 weeks ago around 9 PM at night I happened to look up at a dark, star-filled sky and out of nowhere came a very fast, super bright orange-red light (like a small fireball). It appeared in the distance above the tree-tops. Quickly, it was joined by another same colored light on it’s right side, slightly lower. Then, a third appeared on the left side, also slightly lower at which time, the light on the right just vanished. About 10 seconds later the left light vanished and then the original, center light was also gone. It all happened in a matter of seconds. I didn’t know what to think if it, until I looked-up information on the “white orb circling the night sky” and noticed other posts about orange/red lights. I have lived here almost 20 years and have never noticed anything and now these two, separate instances within one month.

Date: October 17, 2012
Time: From 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.
Hi, I live in Gatineau and last night (October 17th, 2012) I saw a light going around in a circle over Ottawa. It looked like it was doing an elliptic design, but l am not sure, it could have been the angle at which I was seeing it.
It wasn’t a spot light because there was no beam of light coming from the ground, in fact it was cloudy and the light was behind the clouds, sometimes seeming brighter and other times almost invisible depending on the thickness of the cloud cover.
I watched it for at least an hour, from 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. I haven’t seen any reports on the news this morning, I’m wondering if anyone else as seen this.
