Slow Moving Silent Bright Craft That Resembled Car Lights.

Description: I first noticed what looked like a car’s headlights at a low elevation and it seemed to be just sitting/hovering there.The lights were very bright and reflected a beam outward thru cloud cover. I use headlights to explain the strange distance between each of them. Over the left headlight was a continuous strobe. I first thought it was a helicopter due to the Bangor International (BIA) being so close by. I was on my last cigar of the night and upon going outside I immediately saw it as it was quite bright and I was focused looking almost due east from my driveway. The craft was moving way too slow to be something other than a helicopter. I don’t think that it was a helicopter because the lights were too bright and it was silent. The craft was moving very very slow to the northeast. Then the lights went out and I never saw it again. There were no flights in the BIA area according to the 3 or 4 different sites I looked at. This is my very first sighting of this kind and wouldn’t be writing this if I wasn’t sure of what I witnessed tonight. I have been in my home here for 25 years and I have never seen anything like this.
