Description: I’m a public school teacher in Tacoma, WA (and former lawyer). Today is my birthday, and when I was out at my aunt’s house (near the Tacoma Narrows Bridge) I saw what I thought was a helicopter in the sky. I watched it through the window for a few minutes, but as it neared I went outside. It had a blinking lights that repeated it’s pattern, much like a plane, but I saw no wings. Once outside, I heard no sound. Once it neared overhead I took this 30 seconds of video. I then went out in the backyard to continue watching it. I showed my uncle and cousin. Neither knew what it was. By the time we got binoculars it was so far in the distance I could no longer spot it. Did anyone else report this? We just saw it within the past 20 minutes.
P.s. After re-examining the footage, it appears the spherical object was rotating on it’s axis. The light source at its base appears to show this. The object was traveling In a direction consistent with the wind (5 MPH from the NNE), too.
Additional Information Sent by Witness: It definitely wasn’t rising. It stayed on a constant path at what appeared to be a constant velocity until it disappeared in the distance. I saw it’s approach and it’s leaving for what must have been a total of several miles at least. When you zoom in on the object the light looks like it’s rotating, too, as opposed to blinking. Does the military have large drones that move like that?
Note: The object is not a balloon or helicopter. As stated by witness it has no wings. It is also not a drone. Perhaps it is a real UFO!Note to Commenters: If you are reporting a sighting, be sure to include the location (city, state, country), date and time of your sighting. Be detailed in your description.
