Location of Sighting: Edgewater, Florida
Time of Sighting: 8:30 PM EDT
Date of Sighting: April 8, 2020
Description: We were watching for the International Space Station (ISS) to pass from northwest to southeast at 8:33 PM. At at approximately 8:30 we noticed what looked to be a star was racing in the same direction at the ISS. As a matter of fact my daughter was 1st to notice it and after a couple of minutes, she said that was the ISS it came early! At 8:33 I did see the ISS in the northwest shy and watched it pass overhead in a southeast direction. So what was the 1st thing we seen. It was NOT a plane, it was like a distant star?
Note: The other object could also be a satellite. There are many bright satellites that are now visible.Note to Commenters: If you are reporting a sighting, be sure to include the location (city, state, country), date and time of your sighting.
