Description: I witnessed strange red round orbs in the sky tonight that I have photos of, as well as video. I would like to report this, share my experience, and most of all, find out what these were. I apologize the videos are not my best, but I couldn’t get my professional camera fast enough. I would’ve missed this so please let me know what you think.
They came from the East, and went higher in the sky westward. I know the families across our lake saw them as for I heard voices talking as I walked down my street.To give you a better idea of the location, I live in the city limits of Raleigh, closest to Knightdale, and the Nuese River.
The first two pictures are lite up because I believe my flash went off. My family thinks they were satellites due to the time of day, but why never saw before? It was strange and bizarre to me.
Note: It is difficult to say what the witness saw. The moon, Venus and Jupiter were all visible at the time of the sighting. The objects could have been Chinese lanterns.

A couple of days after I saw the orb I was heading back from the store and as I turned on my street (I was on phone with my 59 yr old sister) I told her something was wrong. the Apartment Buildings seem eerie and dark. I noticed that one street light was out and one by my building was flickering fast. Also it was very quiet. I sat in the parking lot while talking. It was around 10:30 at night. All at once a giant shadow went over my car. I saw it move over car and lawn. At that point I ran into the house and got off the phone. I was shaking. (I didn’t see what made huge shadow.) I think the orb experience was positive, but the 2nd event still has me confused. I hope this report will help someone get a little closure if they had a sighting of any kind. I think a lot of questions just goes with the territory. (Note: No harm was done on either night.)(Just strangeness.)
My report as promised in comment 12/18/21. I hesitated to do this since it gave me a panic attack. I’ve accepted what I saw. My name is Dano. On Oct 21 I was returning from my apartment dumpster. This orangish orb came around from my apartment office. It elongated when moving then stopped back to round and stop sign size. It came straight at me looking like plasma ball with electrical lights in it flashing. Some solid object was in it, but it was too distorted. As it was approximately 30 feet in front and approximately 12 feet off the ground. It sensed my panic and bolted off to the south. It seemed to use my mind to calm me. It really didn’t try to harm me. I also felt electrical charge on me that was very calming at this point. This charge came and went for 3 days.The orb and color was unearthly. The communicating through thought was strange. I am 62 year old active male. I will do the 2nd post with some more details. Dano
