Location of Sighting: Merrimac, Massachusetts
Date of Sighting: April 11, 2017
Time of Sighting: 10 PM EDT
Description: A friend and I were out for a joyride when we spotted the craft directly ahead of us, in the sky. It was triangular in shape and had flashing white, red and green lights. The moment we pulled over to get a better look, the craft began to quickly and silently move in the opposite direction (west, it had been traveling east.) We followed the craft west to North Andover, MA. We got out of the car and ran up a hill to better observe the craft. We saw it change direction again, and followed it to Boxford, MA. We spent a total of 3 hours following this craft, which seemed to be patrolling a stretch of sky, back and forth.
I have never seen an airplane just “hang out” in the sky and go back and forth for 3 hours. Also, I have never seen a noiseless airplane, or an airplane that can change direction without making some sort of turn in the sky. At times we were so close we could make out the body of the craft. It seemed to posses an intelligence that made any and all man-made aircraft we encountered, look dumb, drone-like and outdated.
