UNKNOWN OBJECT FOUND IN BACKGROUND OF PHOTO.
Description: Hello. I’m contacting you to see if you can help me explain a picture I took on my phone over this past weekend. The blurry object is what puzzles me. I did not see it while I took the picture. I just noticed it when I looked thru my pictures later in the day and it freaked me a little. Also I need to mention that you can’t see the object on the Gallery picture, only when you click on it for full screen.

Response of Witness to Investigator Questions: Thanks for getting back to me. This picture was taken in a small town called Hope, in the province of British Columbia, Canada. The date was June 4th and the time was 10.46 AM. From what I gather there has been been a lot of activity in the Vancouver area for the past 2 to 3 months, which is about a 1 1/2 hour drive away. Note: The object is probably a bird or insect. The camera was zoomed out and the focal length was short. The apparent blurring is probably due to motion and the object is probably close to the lens.

That is what I noticed about the photo of the object. It looked like it was right in front of the lens. For one thing the mountains in the background look good sized compared to the object. It could be a bird because if you look close you can see something that sort of looks like a tail on the lower right side.
