Location of Sighting: Guanajuato, Mexico
Date of Sighting: January 3, 2020
Time of Sighting: Near Midnight
Description: I saw something pretty much due south, about halfway between orion and the horizon. The sky was very clear and we are at around 7,000 ft. elevation. It was a very bright flashing multicolored light sort of like a tight group of dots. Through my telescope it appeared to be larger than Mars (also visible at the time to the west). It seemed to be more or less tracking with the normal rotation of the stars, but then a little later seemed not quite right and seemed to be moving differently, rising towards Orion. Other stars nearby were not twinkling.
