Location of Sighting: Bonner Springs, Kansas
Date of Sighting: August 31, 2019
Time of Sighting: 9:05 PM CDT

Description: I saw a very vivid red in color light. It increased in intensity, and became large from out of nowhere, then maybe slightly descended and then vanishes the same as it appeared. The sighting lasted 42 seconds and was captured on dash camera DVR, over Leavenworth County. I was traveling east on I-70 at 9:07 pm CDT, between mile marker 218 to mile marker 220, at a speed of 82 MPH. You can see me pass under the bridge of 166th street in the video, the billboards are on the right side of the highway. ( Latitude 39.07842 N, Longitude 94.96897 W). It was definitely not an airplane or helicopter or traditional firework. The best thing I can use to describe would be a military grade illumination flare, if anything.

I’ve seen similar things in Kansas recently, but I feel were taking the extended route of this explanation and extenuating it a little too far. While I am confused and shocked by the presence of strange glowing red orbs in the sky in Topeka and Boner Springs I feel there are many possible reasons as to what may be happening. Considering the strange sightings the US military has supported I feel there may be something at large occurring, but I cannot say whether the source of this is ultimately extraterrestrial, foreign weapons technology, etc. It could be as simple as a man going outside shooting flares for whatever reason. I do want to say that any of these are weird, but let’s consider all possibilities now.
