Location of Sighting: Woodstock, Georgia
Date of Sighting: January 24, 2017
Time of Sighting: 6:30 PM EST

View Video Clip (YouTube):

Description: I saw this over downtown Woodstock, GA on the 24th of January at 6.30 PM. The object had red, green lights flashing with a bright white light?

Note: In the video the object appears to be white and is flashing. The witness saw red and green flashing lights. The clip in this report has been shortened. The object hovered for over a minute, began moving and then dropped from the sky. An aircraft was heard overhead towards the end of the video. It is obvious that the video was taken with a cell phone. This is a strange video and I don’t have an explanation?

We Received The Following Comment From Another UFO Investigator:

It looks and behaves in action like a hand held fired parachute flare. After 1 minute the parachute burns through and then it plummets to the ground (or sea). (UFOs Northwest does not believe that the object was a hand fired parachute flare because the object hovered for over one minute and left no trail.)

Some examples on you tube.

Maybe the light in question moved away fast as you can hear presence aerial aircraft above. Sirens in the area may have attracted the light object to monitor something before leaving.

    It is a great clip.
