White Object Stops, Starts, Speds Away, Vanishes.

Location of Sighting: Killeen, Texas
Date of Sighting: September 16, 2021
Time of Sighting: 8:45 PM CDT

Description: First off I want to state that I am not an aviation expert, but that I am a nightly star/planet watcher. On the night of Sep 16, 2021. The movements of the object that I witnessed were beyond any that I’ve ever seen with the naked eye. The object first appeared to me as the white light usually seen on the front of commercial jets. The object was traveling south at a altitude of about 1000 feet at which point it came to a complete stop for about 5 seconds and then started on a sharp westward direction coming again to a complete stop for about 5 seconds and then moving at a unbelievable rate of speed traveling in a southerly direction until it disappeared from view. What prompted me to file this report was the visible white light that appeared with the same intensity regardless of the direction of travel. I couldn’t see any outline nor did I hear any sound of an engine or any propeller prop. In closing I’m not one to believe in extraterrestrials visitors, but for whatever it was I sure hope it’s one of ours.
