Date of Sighting: June 13, 2015
Time of Sighting: 10 PM PDT
Description: I was camping at Sun Lakes State Park at Campsite 162. I was facing the canyon wall side with my back to the golf course talking to a family that was leaving. I saw a white ball of bright, but soft light travel horizontally right to left 3/4 of the way up the canyon wall right against the front of it at a steady moderate pace.

I just saw your email! Let me try and answer your questions.
1. The light was traveling South near the top of Park Lake North in the direction of Deep lake. I am terrible with direction. Sorry if that’s confusing.
2. The light was between me and the canyon wall. About 3/4 of the way up the canyon wall. Whatever it was, it was in the canyon with us. Over nothing. It’s just bush and dirt and canyon.
3. It was a solid moving light like a ball. There was just one. It was just dark enough I couldn’t see if it was attached to anything.
I heard nothing which was odd because it’s a canyon and the canyon wall is not very far from you 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile maybe from the campsites. It was big enough it should have made noise of some kind. It was not big enough to really be anything. It was high enough and fast enough to freak you out because there’s no way anything can get up there. There are no roads or houses or anything out there. It is desert and canyon wall. I hope that helps clarify. I am sorry if the direction is confusing.
Note: The witness could have seen the Space Station which was visible just before 10 PM. (This is assuming that the witness’s time reporting is off a few minutes.) However, given the information provided in the second report the object could not have been the space station because it the object was between the canyon wall and the observer.

Didn’t it say the object was 3 quarters the way up the canyon wall? This makes me think he was looking up the face of the wall and this thing is between him and the canyon wall 3 quarters of the way up seems like that would mean it was below the rim of the canyon traveling along horizontally so it sounds like the back drop was the canyon and not above in the sky. I wish he would’ve got a bit more detailed as far as line of sight and all that good stuff. I mean if it was below cruising along left to right or right to left running just 1/4th below the canyon rim would go a long ways to dismissing ISS theory. Super interesting two me either way
Yes, you raise good issues. I don’t have enough information to definitively say that the witness saw the ISS. I based this on the fact that the ISS was visible near the time of the sighting and the description sounded like the ISS. I need obtain more information from this witness. Many witnesses don’t respond to follow-up questions.
