Description: Several motorists stopped their cars and looked up at a white spherical object. The object came down to a distance estimated at a quarter of a mile. It changed brightness and became very bright. It stopped, then accelerated, turned 90 degrees toward the moon and then disappeared behind the moon. Skies were clear at the time of the sighting.
