Description: On the morning (middle of the night) of July 6, a blinding light entered my room. As I wear an eye mask I actually saw nothing, but could hear a noise similar to a helicopter just outside my room. The light penetrated my mask and seemed to flood the area around my bed (just like a flood light). Frightened, I pulled the sheets and blankets over my head and put my hands over my eyes to block the light and/or the “thing” that was happening (whatever it was). I was laying on my left side in the fetal position. After a short time, the light entered my right side torso. A blast of it went into me. It actually felt really great! But as I was not at peace about the source, I didn’t acknowledge it outwardly. Next thing I knew, I woke up and had somehow switched sides and was laying on my right side upon awakening. I had lost some time and consciousness during the event. The next day, life went on as usual except that I overdid it a little (expended too much energy). I have a serious health condition), and paid dearly for it on Thursday. I was hoping someone else in the Bellingham area (or elsewhere) may have encountered something similar. What was this? Interesting. I was born in Bellingham. In August of 1979, my daughter (age 6 at the time), and I were traveling between Naselle, WA and Longview, WA, on an isolated road. Around midnight our car was enveloped in the blinding white light. I had seen it come out of the sky, 10 miles before it enveloped us. We gained time.
