Time of Sighting: 10 PM PDT
Description: At first I saw what appeared to be a plane going down. It had a bright yellow glow and had a distinctive contrail, but after about 1 second it got bright and completely disappeared.
Note: A similar sighting occurred in Yakima, WA at the same time. Yakima is about 200 miles to the southwest. The American Meteor Society received a report of a meteor at around 10:30 PM PDT on July 19 in Chelan, WA.
